A touching clip of a miniature pig getting ready to become a mother has gone viral,melting hearts with her focused nesting behavior just before delivery.

The footage,uploaded to TikTok on Tuesday by the account minidonkeysandfriends,captures the pig carefully picking up various objects to build a cozy spot for her upcoming babies.In the video,she can be seen bustling around a yard,carrying an odd mix of things as she prepares for her litter’s arrival.

“Little piglet was very busy on Friday,trotting back and forth from the courtyard collecting all different bits and bobs to build her cozy nest,”reads the video’s caption.

The owner,Gina Stallon from Cornwall,UK,later told Newsweek that the animal in the video is their miniature pig called Piglet.

“The video is our miniature pig named Piglet…In the video she is making a nest…She is a gilt,which means this is her first litter,”she explained.

Piglet had plenty of room to wander while making her nest,which resulted in some inventive—and surprising—choices.Her owner said Piglet had free run of a large outdoor area and made full use of it while gathering materials.

“She had free access to roam our 12 acres…She did collect some normal materials,such as twigs and straw,”they shared.“But she then proceeded to take my horse rug,his fly mask and travel boots.She emptied her bucket and placed that in her nest.”

The video shows Piglet boldly hauling the oversized items back to her chosen nesting place,unfazed by their bulk as she concentrated on getting her nest just right.The unusual collection of objects quickly grabbed viewers’attention,making the scene even more endearing.

Piglet’s careful work paid off.According to Stallon,the miniature pig delivered a healthy litter shortly after the video was recorded.

“She gave birth to 10 beautiful,healthy piglets early hours of the next morning,”she said.

The account behind the video is Mini Donkeys and Friends Cornwall,a business that provides miniature donkey grooming and walking sessions.

Since being posted,the video has rapidly spread across TikTok,striking a chord with animal enthusiasts and casual viewers alike.

The clip has already racked up more than 92,500 views and 7,247 likes on the platform,with many viewers expressing joy at Piglet’s instincts and determination as a first-time mother.
